What is certain is that with the arrival of Android Marshmallow, our operating system finally reached its maximum maturity. With a Nougat, it gives a spin to the design, with an improved system of notifications, smart storage, shortcuts…
As you well know, you just have to register to Google’s Nexus program betas Android to receive updates before anyone else. If you have, surely you have already received the Developer Preview of Android 7.1 and you’re enjoying all the new features.
As we read on the website of Android Developers, Google is planning to launch a new Developer Preview next month before launching the final version in December.
After the initial preview release, we plan to deliver an update in November followed by the final public release to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) in December. Initially available on Nexus 5, Nexus 6P, and Pixel C devices, we’ll extend the Developer Preview to other devices in November.
As expected, this Developer Preview will be available for the Nexus 5, the Nexus 6S and Google Pixel C. So now you know, if you have one of these devices you should know that in a little more -or little less – than a month, you’ll be enjoying a new version of Android 7.1 Nougat.
